Our dear friends and fans!

Lately many of you have been wondering and worrying about a pause in ‘eat me tiger’s activities. This wasn’t because we forgot about you at all but because all and each of us took some time to reconsider our common and personal future. Having done this we came to a unanimous decision to freeze our work as band for an interminable period and leave for vacation.

It doesn’t mean though whatsoever that ‘eat me tiger’ is gone – it only means that each of us needs some time and room out of the band for personal growth and development. We decided to avoid imposing any obligations on each other so you may see some or all of us involved in other projects which might be exciting for both us and you.

Still we will be remaining friends and the band called ‘eat me tiger’.

Understanding that it may be difficult for some of you to take it is, as a proof of abovementioned and a minimal compensation for such spontaneous group laziness we are happy to present you two more new songs – “Selling kittens” and “Global warming” from our forthcoming album.

Наши дорогие друзья и поклонники!

В последнее время многие из вас интересовались и беспокоились по поводы паузы в деятельности ‘eat me tiger’. Это, конечно же, было не потому что мы забыли о вас, а потому что всем и каждому из нас нужно было некоторое время чтобы переосмыслить наше совместное и личное будущее. Сделав это, мы пришли к общему решению на некоторое время заморозить нашу работу как группы и уйти в отпуск.

Это ни в коем случае не значит, что ‘eat me tiger’ больше нет – это всего-навсего говорит о том, что каждому из нас необходимо время и пространство для личного роста и развития. Мы решили не отягощать друг друга какими-либо обязательствами, поэтому, возможно, вы увидите кого-нибудь из нас или всех нас в других проектах, что может быть очень интересно как для вас, так и для нас.

Тем не менее, мы остаемся друзьями и группой ‘eat me tiger’.

Понимая, что для некоторых из вас будет не легко принять это в таком виде, в качестве доказательства вышесказанного и минимальной компенсации за такое спонтанное групповое лентяйство, мы с удовольствием представляем вам еще две новые песни - “Selling kittens” и “Global warming” из нашего будущего дебютного альбома.

Renewed eat me tiger

For now you all have probably heard or even read on this website of Alex’s departure from the band. Some of you were either worried or disappointed with the news or both. However, all is done for good - a cliche that once again proved to be right.

We are now happy to present you eat me tiger’s new member Serge Semenov. Serge is well known among Ukraine’s musical community as a guitar specialist, fantastic musician and cheerful chap always ready to feed you a new joke along with latest news from musical instruments’ industry.

The funniest thing about Serge is that before eat me tiger he had approached music purely as a hobby and mostly played in cover bands for fun or girls or both. Having joined the band Serge made a serious move towards changing his attitude to music, his life and hopefully the fate of the band dramatically.

So please welcome renewed eat me tiger at the nearest gig!

Сейчас вы должно быть уже все слышали или даже читали на этом сайте о том, что Алекс покинул группу. Некоторые из вас были либо расстроены либо разочарованы этим, или и то и другое. Тем не менее, все что не делается – все к лучшему – клише, которое опять доказало свою правоту.

Теперь мы рады представить всем вам нового члена eat me tiger - Сержа Семенова. Серж хорошо известен среди украинского музыкального сообщества как отличный специалист по гитарам, фантастический музыкант и просто как жизнерадостный чувак, всегда готовый выдать тебе новую шутку или последние новости из мира индустрии музыкальных инструментов.

Самое поразительное то, что до eat me tiger для Сержа музыка была исключительно хобби и в основном он играл в кавер-группах для забавы или для девушек, или для того и другого. Присоединившись к eat me tiger, Серж сделал серьезный шаг к кардинальному изменению своих взаимоотношений с музыкой, своей жизни и, мы надеемся, судьбы группы тоже.

Так что, пожалуйста, встречайте новый eat me tiger на ближайшем концерте!

Finally! eat me tiger are extremely happy to present you their first single Morning sun from the forthcoming album Global warming. This track epitomizes what the band has been working on with all their minds and souls for the last one and a half years.

A while has passed since eat me tiger announced about recording of their debut album and many of the band’s friends and fans asked frequently about the date of the promised release. Probably it was puzzling to see the band starting another series of concerts with new and sometimes old but rearranged songs and then disappearing again for several months locking themselves in the studio for rehearsing and recording.

But it was worth it. Enjoy the prologue of what will be eat me tiger’s first LP.

Свершилось! eat me tiger безумно счастливы представить вам свой первый сингл Morning sun из будущего альбома Global warming. Этот трек воплощает все то, над чем группа работала со всей душой и умом последние полтора года.

Немало времени прошло с тех пор как eat me tiger объявили о записи дебютного альбома и многие друзья и поклонники группы регулярно интересовались датой обещанного релиза. Должно быть, странно было видеть как коллектив начинает очередную серию концертов с новыми, а иногда старыми но переаранжированными, треками и потом опять исчезает на несколько месяцев, закрываясь в студии для репетиций и записи.

Но этого того стоило. Наслаждайтесь прологом того, что станет первой полноценной пластинкой eat me tiger.

Alex has left the band

Hi everyone!   It's hard to say it but we must inform all our friends, colleagues and fans that our bass player AlexZander left the band.   Our three lives were tied together by music and friendship for almost ten years, so we are very sorry to see our brother leaving.  Still Alex will always stay our closest friend and one of most talented musicians we have ever seen! His enormous contribution will always stay with eat me tiger regardless of who will take his place.  We wish Alex all the luck in world and an outmost success in either his musical career or whatever he chooses to be in his life.   Nicholas and Max.

Нам трудно об этом говорить, но мы обязаны сообщить всем нашим друзьям, коллегам и поклонникам, что наш бас-гитарист АлексЗандер покинул группу.

Наши три жизни были связанны вместе музыкой и дружбой на протяжении почти десяти лет, так что нам очень жаль что наш брат покинул коллектив.

Тем не менее, Алекс навсегда останется нашим близким другом и одним из самых талантливых музыкантов которых мы когда-либо видели! Его вклад будет жить с eat me tiger независимо от того, кто займет его место.

Мы желаем Алексу удачи и успеха, которые он несомненно заслуживает, в его музыкальной карьере или на каком-либо другом поприще, которое он выберет в своей жизни.

After the Kyiv season

Hi again all eat me tiger’s fans and friends! This news bite is specifically to thank all of you as well as the band’s crew for the unforgettable season of gigs called ‘Student’s Life’ that the band did in February - May 2008.

During those 4 months eat me tiger played 10 solo and party gigs at Kyiv clubs and open-air stages as an advance to their forthcoming album ‘Global warming’. Now some of the tracks recorded during the tour are available on the band’s free-download debut maxi-single ‘From the underground’.

Cold winter - hot parties

New year 2008 eat me tiger start with a series of parties that will be taking place in Kiev clubs and venues for the next four months. Called ‘Student’s Life’ these gigs are intended to present eat me tiger to Ukraine’s most musically educated public - students. On 10 February the band launches ‘Student’s life’ in “Kyiv” (former “Maydan”) club in a joint concert with Kyiv bands “Plus” and “Preslee”.

If you’re young, hot and music loving - you don’t want to miss it. If you’re not really of a music fan but simply like having fun - just get there. And even if you’re grey, tired and have no idea what you’d listen to - that’s a place for you to go as well.

Shot in November 2006 and presented on M1 music channel in December same year now band’s debut video on their hit-single ‘From the underground’ is also on air of MTV Ukraine. “I’m really happy that Ukrainian brach of world’s legendary music TV channel is very interested in and keen on supporting local indie artists worth of national and international acclaim” comments eat me tiger manager Ms Alya. AlexZander adds “I’m sure there’s no such band or artist who would think of themselves as successful without having their videos on MTV”.

Recorded in May-June 2006 it was initially intended as a demo CD only for presenting the new born band to media and labels. But in a very short term one of the songs called ‘From the underground’ captivated attention of many showbiz industry professionals, musicians and eat me tiger’s friends. ‘Eventually we just realized that It would be a crime not to release this track’ recalls Nicholas. Later after ‘From the underground’ success, its video and remix by Istar Project there was just nothing left than to release the hit-single along with other three original tracks from the band’s first studio session.
